[Marona stood in front of the ranch, peering at it, comparing it to the glimpses she had gotten from the videos on her Pokédex. It certainly looked like the right one. And, going off of its location, there was no real possibility it could have been another. After all, there weren't exactly a bunch of Pokémon ranches on the same one route. Which meant...]

Just a little further. A little further, and I'll be there...!

[Of course, considering Marona had run to it after being chased back down by Route 30 by some decidedly unhappy Beedrills, it was easier said than done. She was tired. Still, she pressed on, knowing this was where she would finally be able to meet up with her friends - all of them.

Or at least, that's what she thought. At least ignorance is bliss?]

[Athrun was already there, pacing restlessly. He looked up, and when he saw Marona, let out a sigh of relief. However, the concern did not entirely leave his face.]

[Ash opens the door of the Office, having just finished his afternoon shower, hoping to get down and meet the guy who has been pacing near the gate for the last half hour. Was this another egg-buyer? He didn't look familiar, but Ash walked up to meet him anyway. Before he could speak, he saw the familiar bob of green hair.

He ran over and hugged her tightly, almost not even allowing her to speak. And he didn't even have to be a rock or a tree to do it either. He can finally give Marona a hug without complication.]

You made it! Marona!

[Marona gives a small gasp in surprise, before returning the hug with one of her own. Those tears are from sheer happiness, of course. Seeing him through the Pokédex was one thing, but finally being able to meet him once more...]

[Ash let's her go after a few moments of embracing, probably the biggest smile he ever worn on his face his entire life and unlife is the first thing she'll see. If she looked closer, a few tears had welled up in his own eyes, but he had not let them run. Ash wipes away her tears, again, something he couldn't do before.]

I'm so glad you're safe...

[Ash turned and nodded the man beside him.]

Marona's friend, right? Thanks for watching out for her.

[Aaaaaand suddenly she remembers that someone else had made it to the ranch. She smiles sheepishly at Athrun, realizing he must have felt a little left out.]

I'm sorry. Athrun, this is my friend Ash. Ash, meet Athrun. He's been traveling in the same group as me.

[Marona was like Ash, seeing a loved one really threw everything out of perspective. Ash was a little jealous that someone other then him was watching out for Marona. He dismissed the thought quickly.]

Beedrill, maybe? Did they give you any trouble on 30?

Rise is one of the people who traveled with us. When I thought of staying back in Cherrygrove to work, she offered to stay with me.
